They will ultimately transcribe their results by specifying the tools needed for product development. They study the product's feasibility and write the technical specifications following the IT product's functional characteristics. The R&D engineer selects tools to optimize testing. These tests are conducted to verify the product's compliance. They then study the obtained results and make necessary corrections to perfectly meet the client's requirements. Once all these steps are completed, they file the patent application. The R&D engineer transmits the technical specifications to the production teams and maintains continuous contact with them to discuss any potential issues encountered. They work under the direction of the R&D project manager and the R&D studies director.
