Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist 6 Month contract initially Based: Remote/Milton Keynes - Max 3 days p/w onsite Rate: £425 - £450 p/d (via Umbrella company) We have a great opportunity with a world leading organisation where you will be provided with all of the support and development to succeed. A progressive organisation where you can really make a difference. We have a great opportunity for a Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Specialist to join the team for an initial 6 month contract. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and implement ODI mappings, interfaces, packages, procedures, and load plans. * Perform end-to-end data integration activities including extraction from source systems, transformation logic, and loading into target systems (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Cloud). * Optimize ODI processes for performance, scalability, and reusability. * Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs. * Develop and enforce ODI standards, frameworks, and best practices. * Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to data integration jobs, schedules, and performance bottlenecks. * Support ODI administration activities including security, topology configuration, agent setup, and patch upgrades. * Provide production support for ODI jobs, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability. * Document technical designs, integration flows, and support guides. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in data integration and analytics delivery. Key Skills & Experience: * Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g/12c (mandatory). * Proficiency in ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and relational database design. * Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills; performance tuning of queries and ODI mappings. * Experience with ODI administration, topology setup, security, and agents. * Knowledge of Oracle database, GoldenGate, and WebLogic environments. * Experience integrating ODI with cloud applications (Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM, SaaS, REST/SOAP APIs). * Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and documentation skills to liaise with business and technical stakeholders. Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
