Java Solution Architect

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Hampshire Based, On-Site Working, 5 Days A Week


Your Role will involve:
As a Java Solution Architect, you will be a team player working closely with other Java developers and technical subject matter experts as part of a SAFE Agile team. This role is in a fast-paced environment where you must be proactive, adaptable and able to re-prioritise according to the Customer's needs.

You will be responsible for the design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended Java programs in accordance with agreed standards. You must be happy to provide application maintenance and support services, either directly to users of the applications or to service delivery functions.

Key Accountabilities
* Must be able to work under the direction of the lead Java Developer, with minimal supervision, to produce high quality Java solutions for both an established system and a new system which is currently under development.
* Contributor to high level solution and design reviews.
* Participation in SAFE Agile events such as retrospectives, reviews and planning.

Required Skills:
* Minimum of 3 years of Java development experience within an enterprise environment.
* Use of API interfaces with Java including REST.
* Must be experienced with Windows platforms.
* Use of source control using GIT.
* Use of Azure Devops platform.
