The Exams Officer is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of all examinations within the organisation, ensuring they are conducted in line with awarding body regulations, internal policies, and statutory requirements. The role ensures the integrity, security, and accuracy of the examination process from registrations through to results and certifications.
The Exams Officer acts as the main point of contact for awarding bodies, staff, learners, and external partners, providing guidance and administrative support throughout the academic cycle. They manage exam timetables, venues, invigilation arrangements, access arrangements, exam materials, and post-exam processes, ensuring deadlines are met and records are accurate.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work calmly under pressure, particularly during peak exam periods, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance at all times.
Contract length: approx 3 months
Location: Gloucestershire
Start date: within 2 weeks
