On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Technical Project Manager (IT infrastructure) for a 12 Months contract based in Derby (Hybrid).

Job description - the role

Purpose of the role:
As Technical Project Manager (IT infrastructure) you will manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for cyber security initiatives, coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

What you'll do:

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and reporting.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment with security policies and practices.

The skills you'll need:

• Strong experience in IT infrastructure project management.
• Proven working experience in project management in the IT sector.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in cyber security.
• Governance experience.
• Proficient in Waterfall methodology and PRINCE2.
