I'd like to market my web design in the new year by sending out letters to local small business owners.

Does anyone know of a place where I could get some ideas, or a template for this type of letter.

I don't follow any template or write the same letter to everyone. All it depends how's your customer, what he wants from you and what you can deliver to him at his/her terms. Keep these points in mind and write a concise quality letter to your customers.
