Freelance job Electrical Design Engineer

I am working with a Maritime company that are currently dominating the offshore vessel market and have won a number of projects that require extra resources.

The client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a 6 month contract with potential extension.

This role is outside IR35. This role is based in Gateshead.

The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have subsea/marine experience and a strong background in EC&I.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in electrical design
Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan
Electrical schematic drawing
Knowledge of HV and LV systems
Variable drive systems knowledge is beneficial but not essential
Experience designing Vessels is desirable but not essential
Experience of the Subsea/Renewables is desirable but not essential
