This Senior Content Designer role sits within the Home Office’s Policing and Public Protection Technology portfolio, working on services focused on modern slavery and safeguarding, supporting people in highly sensitive situations.
What you’ll be working on
Designing content for services used in public safety and victim support
Improving how users navigate complex government systems
Working closely with researchers, designers and policy teams to solve real-world problems
Helping shape services from early discovery through to delivery
What you’ll be doing
Writing and structuring content for complex, high-impact services
Using research and data to improve user journeys
Running workshops and challenging assumptions
Collaborating with stakeholders across policy, design and delivery
Leading content design practice and supporting other designers
Candidate profile
What you’ll bring
Strong experience in user-centred content design
Ability to turn complex information into clear, accessible content
Confidence using research and evidence to inform decisions
Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Leadership or mentoring experience
Working environment
Locations: Croydon, Manchester or Sheffield
