Job Vacancy IT Project Manager (FR/EN)

Avanda is an IT professional services Consultancy. We are now looking for a French speaking IT Project Manager to join our growing team in the French speaking part of Switzerland (Geneva, Lausanne). You will join a team responsible for the evolution and modernization of IT environments at our clients, actively contributing to the coordination and management of technical projects involving multiple teams and applications.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor technical activities related to the evolution and upgrade of infrastructure and application environments.
  




• Coordinate communication between technical teams, application owners, and other stakeholders.
  




• Plan migration phases, track deliverables, and ensure smooth execution of operations.
  




• Manage dependencies, priorities, and impacts across different systems.
  




• Document actions, risks, and status updates to maintain clear visibility of project progress.
  




• Contribute to the preparation and validation of testing and go-live phases.
  




• Support the team in communication and reporting to management.
  




• Define and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  




• Track project budgets, timelines, and quality metrics, escalating issues when necessary.
  




• Ensure compliance with internal governance, change management, and security processes.
  




• Lead or contribute to project meetings, producing clear minutes and action follow-ups.
  




• Facilitate decision-making between technical and business stakeholders.
  




• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process optimizations.
  

RequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

At least 4 years of experience in IT project management or coordination roles, ideally involving infrastructure or application environments.

A Project Management certification such as PMP, Prince 2, Hermes, IPMA, or equivalent experience at a Big4 consultancy would be a strong plus
Solid understanding of Infrastructure, server environments, and applications dependancies.

Strong organizational and coordination skills, comfortable managing multiple workstreams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Fluent French with professional level of English;

Analytical, structured, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
