Deployment Engineer | UK – Wide travel | Contract

A client is seeking an experienced Deployment Engineer to support a Windows 11 rollout of 400 devices across 6 UK cities including 1 in Northern Ireland.

This role will involve handing out prebuilt devices before supporting the user with the final stages of set up in a tech bar type environment as well as building/upgrading laptops that are already in circulation.

The successful Deployment Engineer must be comfortable with UK-wide travel — reasonable expenses will be covered.

Key Responsibilities of the Deployment Engineer:

• Deploy and upgrade devices to Windows 11 across various locations.
• Build and configure laptops and desktops.
• Asset tag and document all new hardware.
• Provide administration and end-user support during the rollout.
• Engage with users on-site, ensuring a smooth transition to new hardware/software.
• Perform OS deployments using Autopilot.

Key Experience of the Deployment Engineer:

• Proven experience deploying Windows 11.
• Expertise in laptop/desktop builds, upgrades, and imaging.
• Excellent communication and user-facing skills.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
