Job Title: Technical Delivery Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £58,000
Location: Cambridge/hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office).

- Lead the successful delivery of platform software projects, managing requirements, priorities, and dependencies to create efficient release schedules
- Develop a deep understanding of the requirements, deliverables and complexities of the projects you're engaged on, and be able to communicate clearly and confidently about those projects to stakeholders at different levels
- Partner with key stakeholders across the global Education business to support clear elicitation of requirements and effective prioritisation to deliver measurable value to the end user
Candidate profile
About you
You will have proven experience successfully delivering projects. This is a role within a technical team so experience with technical project delivery, or involvement in technical projects in general, is an advantage. You might have a background in software development or software testing, or a background in education or in publishing, with project management experience.
You will have confidence leading meetings with globally distributed teams, and in working with stakeholders at different levels. Part of this role involves taking an active Scrum Master role within a team, so the ability to support and coach a team in good Agile/Scrum practice is essential, and you'll have a strong understanding of the principles, values and benefits of Agile development processes.
Your experience in these areas will allow you to manage complicated technical projects successfully, working with stakeholders to deliver best value, anticipating issues and managing dependencies for effective deliveries. You will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to organise effectively. You will be an excellent communicator, able to give stakeholders visibility and confidence, able to negotiate where necessary, and ensuring the team have a clear sense of direction and purpose.
You will have a flexible approach to problem solving, able to see what needs to be done and innovate, if necessary, rather than being reliant on rigidly defined processes. You will enjoy responding to evolving challenges and be proactive in looking for ways to improve team processes.
You will have a key focus on teamwork, and on shared responsibility. You will be a natural collaborator, playing a strongly supportive role within the team in the face of challenging deadlines and ambitious projects.
