Senior Software Developer - C# .NET

Location: Wellingborough, England

Contract: 6 or 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £48,000 - £56,000

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong C#, .NET, and web development skills to join a global engineering and logistics company on a 6 or 12-month FTC. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale, international projects and deliver innovative solutions across the full product lifecycle.

You'll be maintaining and developing high-performance applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core

Design and build responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular

Convert business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions

Create test cases, perform software testing, and integrate subsystems into larger systems

Write and maintain technical documentation and ensure high-quality, maintainable code

Collaborate with international teams on key projects and provide technical support when required

Key Requirements

Proven experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript)

Skilled in building responsive, cross-browser compatible applications

Strong database knowledge (MS SQL
