Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Candidate profile

As a Microsoft Fabric Architect, you’ll help clients design, build and optimise modern data and analytics platforms. You’ll combine technical leadership with hands-on expertise, working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to create scalable, secure and business-focused solutions.



• Design Microsoft Fabric architectures aligned to business goals

• Build scalable solutions using OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Factory and Power BI

• Define best practices for governance, security, deployment and performance

• Lead workshops, technical discovery sessions and architecture reviews

• Mentor engineering and analytics teams on Fabric delivery approaches

• Support bids, proposals and client engagements as a Fabric specialist

• Develop reusable patterns and standards to improve delivery quality

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

You’ll bring strong experience delivering modern data platforms and a deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric and related Microsoft technologies. You should be comfortable engaging with both senior stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.



• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms

• Strong expertise across Microsoft Fabric services and architecture

• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python and/or Power BI

• Knowledge of Lakehouse, Warehouse and modern data engineering patterns

• Experience with governance, security, monitoring and cost optimisation

• Strong stakeholder management, consulting and communication skills

• Ability to mentor teams and provide technical leadership
