Candidate profile
You will also play a key role in fostering strong collaboration between CGI and partner teams, ensuring clear governance, effective communication, and alignment with global alliance strategies. Working alongside technical, business development, and leadership teams, you will help identify new opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and empower teams across CGI to leverage alliance capabilities to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead & Develop Alliances – Take ownership of the UK SBU strategic alliance with AWS while supporting collaboration with Salesforce and other key partners
Drive Go-to-Market Strategy – Work with technology and business development leads to define and execute joint GTM programmes
Enable Funding & Investment – Support business units in accessing partner funding for bids, marketing initiatives, training, proof-of-concepts and innovation programmes
Develop Alliance Business Plans – Collaborate with BU leaders to define target clients, joint propositions, certification plans and market engagement strategies
Strengthen Partner Relationships – Build and maintain strong working relationships between CGI and alliance stakeholders at regional and global levels
Promote Joint Innovation – Identify and support joint marketing initiatives, events, and technology opportunities with partners
Showcase Value & Capability – Promote partner solutions internally while highlighting CGI expertise and intellectual property within partner ecosystems
Governance & Performance Management – Support regular pipeline reviews, opportunity tracking and alliance performance reporting
Support Skills & Capability Growth – Help accelerate certification and capability development across the organisation
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong experience managing or developing strategic technology partnerships within a consulting, technology, or professional services environment. You will be comfortable working with senior stakeholders across organisations, driving collaboration, and coordinating complex initiatives that support business growth and innovation.
Essential qualifications include:
Experience managing or developing strategic alliances or partner ecosystems
Strong understanding of cloud partnerships, particularly AWS and/or Salesforce
Proven ability to drive go-to-market initiatives and joint business development activities
Experience working with senior stakeholders across business units and partner organisations
Ability to manage funding programmes, pipeline reporting, and governance structures
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience working in consulting, technology services, or enterprise IT environments
