As a Senior Test Engineer for MDS, you will develop and maintain reliable test frameworks and automation test suites for the MDS across the Mobile technology stack. You will define the approach for test infrastructure setup and use outputs to drive technical improvement. You will be responsible for defining and executing both functional and non-functional tests using both manual and automation methodologies with a variety of software and programming languages including but not limited to JavaScript, Cypress, Playwright and XCUIT automation frameworks. You will be required to build test suites and perform tests against all aspects of the Mobility service including MDM solutions including Workspace One and Intune, clients including iOS and Samsung Knox mobile devices (phones and tablets) and their relevant operating systems. Additionally, the role requires defining and testing all integrations with the MDM and our devices including infrastructure and backend services including Cloud Hosted infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Mobile Threat Defence software, and bespoke APIs and web services. As a member of the MDS team, you will be able to perform testing against bespoke in-house developed mobile applications build in native Swift and Kotlin, as well as backend .net web applications. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to set the direction of the testing function within the Mobile Devices product team. You will be expected to work in an Agile and proactive working environment, delivering within lean timescales in a security conscious working environment.
