Freelance remote job Technical Lead - Celfocus

Our client based in London is looking for a Technical Lead - Celfocus.
This is a 6 months contract initially and the role is fully remote.

The role is outside IR35.

The Technical Lead - Celfocus is responsible for leading the technical design, implementation, and support of billing and revenue management solutions using Celfocus frameworks and accelerators. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong solution design capabilities, and the ability to guide delivery teams, manage integrations, and ensure successful implementation of subscription billing, charging, and revenue processes.

Experience:
* 7+ years of relevant experience in billing, revenue management, telecom/digital billing, or related technology domains.
* Strong hands-on experience with Celfocus billing frameworks, accelerators, and associated solutions.
* Proven experience in technical leadership, solution design, implementation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert for Celfocus solutions.
* Design and implement end-to-end billing and revenue management solutions.
* Translate business and functional requirements into scalable and robust technical designs.
* Lead configuration and customization of Zuora modules, including Billing, Payments, and Revenue.
* Support implementation using Celfocus accelerators, APIs, and frameworks.
* Oversee integrations with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and downstream systems.
* Guide development teams on technical best practices, standards, and solution design.
* Review and approve technical designs, configurations, and code deliverables.
* Support data migration, reconciliation, and billing validation activities.
* Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and drive resolution.
* Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, testing, and delivery teams.
* Provide technical leadership and support throughout SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
* Prepare technical documentation, conduct knowledge transfer, and mentor team members.
