Job Vacancy M365 Solution Architect

In this role, you will work across a diverse mix of clients and projects, taking ownership of engagements from strategic shaping and advisory work through to architecture, technical design and hands-on delivery. You’ll use your expertise across Microsoft 365, particularly M365 Copilot and Power Platform, to understand client needs and translate them into secure, sustainable solutions that deliver tangible outcomes.



You’ll build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, balancing risk, cost and value while identifying opportunities to improve and extend client solutions. You’ll be encouraged to bring fresh thinking from previous engagements, experiment with new approaches and share your expertise with colleagues. Supported by a collaborative team, you’ll also help others develop through mentoring and knowledge sharing.



Shape & Advise: Define M365 strategies and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

Architect & Deliver: Design M365 solutions and produce clear, high-quality High-Level Design (HLD) documentation.

Innovate & Validate: Lead and support Microsoft 365 Copilot pilots and proofs of concept, turning emerging capabilities into practical client outcomes.

Develop & Govern: Deliver Power Platform solutions and establish sustainable governance models, including Centre of Excellence approaches.

Engage & Influence: Build strong client relationships and manage stakeholders effectively across technical and business communities.

Balance & Optimise: Evaluate risk, reward and cost to guide pragmatic architectural decisions.

Grow & Improve: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and follow-on client engagements.

Mentor & Collaborate: Share knowledge and support the professional development of colleagues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

You’ll bring broad Microsoft 365 architecture and consulting experience, complemented by deeper expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Platform. You should be comfortable moving between strategic conversations, architecture and hands-on technical delivery, with the communication skills to turn complex requirements into solutions that clients and technical teams can understand and implement.



Strong working knowledge across the Microsoft 365 portfolio, with specialist expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Platform.

Proven experience architecting M365 solutions and creating HLD documentation.

Experience delivering Microsoft 365 Copilot pilots and proofs of concept.

Demonstrable experience delivering Power Platform solutions, including sustainable governance and Centre of Excellence models.

Experience working with relevant architecture and delivery methodologies or frameworks, such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, TOGAF and RCDA.

Strong stakeholder management, consulting and relationship-building capabilities.

Proven ability to understand client requirements and align technology choices with desired business outcomes.

Ability to assess and balance risk, value and cost when making recommendations.

A self-motivated and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery.

A collaborative mindset with experience of knowledge sharing and mentoring colleagues.

Willingness to travel occasionally to CGI offices and client sites as required.
