Introduction & Summary:
We seek a competent Data Analyst to join our dynamic IT Data Division. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation by unlocking the potential of data within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 2 years of experience, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.

Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work closely with business units and technical experts to support data users throughout the organization. Core responsibilities include:

• Understanding internal stakeholders’ data needs and translating them into IT specifications.

• Designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Cleaning, transforming, and modeling data with SQL or Python.

• Contributing to initiatives regarding data governance, quality, and integration.

• Documenting data flows and models.

• Collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Stewards, and business teams.

Key Requirements:
The following skills and qualifications are essential for this position:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Problem-solving skills.

• Ability to comprehend data and reporting-related business challenges.

• Familiarity with Excel.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:
Additional skills that would be beneficial include:

• Knowledge of SQL and/or Python.

• Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).

• Experience with SCRUM agile methodology.

Other Details:
This position requires a minimum of 3 days per week on-site, with 2 teleworking days permitted. The role is based in Brussels, Belgium and offers a meaningful international experience within a leading financial institution.
