Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Candidate profile

In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of complex data transformation programmes for enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor and senior engagement lead throughout the lifecycle of each initiative. You will work closely with client stakeholders, programme teams, and technical specialists to define delivery roadmaps, manage risks, and ensure business outcomes are achieved. Combining strong delivery leadership with deep data expertise, you will help clients modernise their data capabilities, establish effective governance frameworks, and maximise the value of their data investments.



You will provide direction and oversight across multidisciplinary teams spanning architecture, engineering, governance, analytics, and platform disciplines. Working within CGI’s collaborative culture, you will have the opportunity to shape innovative solutions, influence strategic decisions, mentor colleagues, and drive high-impact outcomes for both clients and delivery teams.



Lead & Deliver complex data transformation and modernisation programmes from inception to completion

Own & Manage client engagements, stakeholder relationships, governance, budgets, and delivery plans

Shape & Guide enterprise data platform implementations, migrations, and analytics initiatives

Facilitate & Collaborate across business, technology, and data teams to drive successful outcomes

Advise & Influence senior stakeholders on data strategy, operating models, and transformation roadmaps

Govern & Mitigate programme risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges

Support & Mentor delivery leads, architects, engineers, analysts, and governance specialists

Drive Excellence through adoption of best practices across data quality, governance, security, and compliance

Contribute & Grow business opportunities through workshops, discovery sessions, solution shaping, and pre-sales activities

Champion Innovation across modern cloud data platforms, analytics capabilities, and emerging technologies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive experience leading enterprise-scale data and analytics programmes within consulting, professional services, or complex client-facing environments. You will combine strong programme delivery expertise with a solid understanding of modern data platforms, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise data management principles. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, leadership capability, and the ability to bridge strategic business objectives with technical delivery will be essential.



Essential qualifications and experience:

Proven experience leading large-scale data transformation and analytics programmes

Strong background delivering enterprise data projects within consulting or client-facing environments

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams including Data Engineers, Data Architects, Governance specialists, Analysts, and Platform teams

Strong understanding of modern cloud data architectures and data platform ecosystems

Experience with one or more technologies including AWS, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, or Azure Data Lake

Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, and enterprise data management practices

Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and executive audiences

Experience delivering programmes using Agile, Waterfall, and/or SAFe methodologies

Strong programme governance, risk management, budgeting, and resource planning experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline



Desirable:

Consulting, systems integration, or enterprise transformation experience

Experience working within large-scale cloud environments

Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platforms

Exposure to AI/ML, advanced analytics, or data science initiatives

Relevant certifications in Azure, Databricks, Agile, SAFe, or Project Management methodologies
