As a senior member of our consulting practice, you’ll have the autonomy to advise executive leaders, shape investment decisions and take ownership of transformation from strategy through delivery. You’ll bring fresh thinking to complex business challenges while working alongside multidisciplinary experts who will support you in delivering lasting change. Beyond individual engagements, you’ll help grow our consulting capability through business development, thought leadership and mentoring, creating new opportunities for our clients, our teams and CGI.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Candidate profile

In this role, you will lead complex technology-enabled transformation engagements, working with executive stakeholders to establish strategic direction, prioritise investment and translate business ambitions into achievable transformation roadmaps. You’ll take ownership of programme outcomes, delivery quality, commercial performance and client relationships, using evidence and insight to influence critical decisions.

You’ll also play an important role in the continued growth of our consulting practice. You’ll identify and shape new opportunities, introduce innovative approaches and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. As an experienced consulting leader, you’ll mentor colleagues, share expertise and help create an environment where people have the support and confidence to develop their careers and make an impact.

• Lead & Transform – Shape and lead large-scale, technology-enabled transformation programmes aligned to strategic business objectives.

• Advise & Influence – Build trusted relationships with C-suite and executive stakeholders, providing evidence-based strategic advice.

• Strategise & Shape – Develop business strategies, operating models, investment roadmaps, business cases and value realisation frameworks.

• Own & Deliver – Take accountability for programme outcomes, delivery quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction.

• Grow & Develop – Lead business development activities spanning opportunity qualification, solution shaping, proposals and executive presentations.

• Expand & Strengthen – Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and develop strategic accounts.

• Lead & Empower – Guide multidisciplinary consulting teams while coaching and mentoring colleagues to build capability.

• Innovate & Improve – Apply emerging technologies, modern consulting methods and creative approaches to transformation challenges.

• Shape & Share – Contribute to thought leadership, intellectual property, knowledge sharing and the continued development of CGI’s consulting capabilities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

You will bring extensive consulting experience and a strong record of leading complex, technology-enabled business transformation. You should combine strategic and commercial thinking with the ability to influence executive stakeholders, lead high-performing teams and turn business objectives into transformation strategies that deliver measurable value.

• Significant experience leading complex technology-enabled transformation and enterprise change programmes.

• Strong strategic consulting experience, ideally gained within a recognised consulting organisation or comparable client-facing environment.

• Proven experience developing business strategies, transformation roadmaps, investment cases and value realisation frameworks.

• Extensive experience advising and influencing C-suite executives and senior business leaders.

• Strong understanding of digital transformation, operating models, organisational design, enterprise architecture, process optimisation and change management.

• Proven ability to take ownership of complex client engagements and commercial outcomes.

• Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary consulting teams.

• Demonstrable involvement in business development, sales pursuits, solution shaping and account growth.

• Ability to contribute to thought leadership, consulting methodologies and capability development.

• Relevant professional certifications in areas such as strategy, programme delivery, business architecture, change management or technology.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
