NPI Project Manager / New Product Introduction Project Manager
Woking, Surrey
£40,000 + Production Bonus + Training & Development + Project Ownership + Long-Term Stability
Are you an NPI Project Manager or Product Development Project Manager looking to take full ownership of projects from concept through to production launch, in a business that genuinely invests in staff development?
On offer is a permanent position with a multinational engineering and manufacturing group where you'll drive new products through an established five-phase NPI framework and play a key role in continued growth.
In this role you will run multiple NPI projects, owning plans, milestones, resources and risk, while coordinating Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality. You'll lead stage/gate reviews, provide progress reporting to senior leadership, and support prototype builds, verification and regulatory approval activity.
This role would suit a project professional who enjoys cross-functional ownership and wants long-term development in a quality-led engineering environment with the chance to improve processes and project controls.
The Role:
- Manage multiple new product projects from concept to manufacturing release and launch
- Drive projects through a five-phase NPI process (managed via Wrike or similar)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers and external engineering resources
- Lead meetings, stage/gate reviews and provide clear progress reports
- Support prototype builds, testing and CE approval activities where required
The Person:
- Proven experience delivering NPI / product development projects in an engineering environment
- Strong project planning and control skills (milestones, dependencies, resources, risk)
- Comfortable coordinating technical and non-technical stakeholders
