I am a salaried employee earning 30k, but I often get approached for freelance work online too. I'd like to take some of this up. I've read that for freelancers there is a personal allowance of 11k - would this be true in my case too or because I already earn 30k in a salaried job, does that mean I don't get a personal allowance for freelance work?
