I am a freelance social media consultant and for my next role the client has requested that I set up as a Ltd Company.
Two questions:
Is it necessary to employ a professional accountant to do the books? As I am going to be a 1 man company I wont have alot of costs that need accounting, and will be able to easily keep receipts and an updated spreadsheet. I have seen figures of £800-£1200 for an accountant but how necessary is this for a 1-man company with limited accounts.
I appreciate any advice people can offer.
thanks
Alex
