very useful - also

This is exactly what I am researching at the mo. I have some specific questions concerning cold calls.

Getting past secretaries - What techniques are useful to get through to the person who matters, the person who you can pitch to.

I intend to phone first and then once I have the ear and email address of the decision maker, send through an email with info and links to my website.

Any experts on this crucial info please.

Hi,

I recently registered a web address with '123-reg' which was quite easy. It did not cost anything and I received an invoice stating the name of the new web address and confirmation of no charge.

My question is: do I now own this web address? and can I use it for the new website? I know this may seem like a silly question but it seemed a bit too easy.

Is there anything else I have to do?

hope somebody can shed light on this

Thanks:eyes

I have just started freelancing and want to know what the best process for invoicing is. The company has a history of 'questioning' payments.

If I send an invoice is that enough or do I need a contract or a signature?

obvious and simple question I know but, I want to make sure my first proper job is not a legal disaster.

Thanks :confused2
