I've just started freelancing (web developer) last month and have now just set up a Limited company.

Now i just want to find out what most freelancers do? what is the general trend. Do you register your company for VAT even if you are earning less than the amount required (before you actually need to register by law)?

Do most recruitment agents ask that their freelancers be VAT registered?
