Do you have an ETA on when this will be working again? It has now been over a month and nothing has changed! I rely on this site for new clients and work so having this go down is like a limb being cut-off.
That doesn't really address what I was asking. I'm asking if the site profiles are still live or not? I've contacted FreelanceUK via Facebook and received no response. Which is odd considering they are updating the news section.
Normally I enter the site, click on the find a freelancer by skill/service and a selection appears but nothing is showing....even in featured freelancers. Is the site still running?!
As glebe digital says. There may not be much you can do. Even if you were to take them to a small claims court the repayment terms might mean you have to wait possibly over a year to get any money back. Not related to freelancing, but renting of my house, I took someone to court and won. The people owe me 6k and I havent seen a penny of that in the last 5 years.
I would in future ask for a payment up front. With more and more businesses struggling these days it would be wise to safeguard some of the payment.
