In the spirit of neighbourly goodwill and peace to all, and as the CUK board is slowly grinding to a halt - I'd like to say hello and introduce our CUK lot to the somewhat quieter but equally wonderful members of Freelance UK.

Oi sal - they're sensible and mature types here - I was lightly poked by the admins when we forum stormed this place last time. Best behaviour.

You do realise I've created a 'test please delete' thread in about 4 bulletin boards now - any good shelter must have one, IMHO.

wendigo100, post: 285 a écrit : Is your new company for contracting or freelancing?
I'll contract non-exclusively, then run smaller jobs from the freelancing days' contacts through the same company. Still, the same thing innit.

administrator, post: 274 a écrit : Hello lovely contractors! Wondered when you would find us :D

Try and keep the caravan threads to a minimum - apart from that enjoy the stay.

Before you ask, CUK will be getting the forum upgrade soon too so I will be able to give you all warnings there too ;)
Shame on you! And we were about to have such fun too! 😃
Cheers Admin chap, and remember to wash behind yer ears ;)

A big HELLO to all on the, er, F(reelance)UK forum from the CUK, love and bunnies.

Yes, I've tried that too but with no luck... It works within our own professional groups but translating between 'Croydon' and 'Islington' can be quite a mission.

Can it be done? What challenges do you face setting up a studio with artworkers and web devs? Finding a common language on projects through print and web jargon can be difficult - what approaches have you used before and why?

Hello btw 🙂
