Hi guys. I'm currently a first year Journalism student, and have a question regarding using other people's quotes.. Simply, can you do it (legally)? Or is the person who conducts the interview the sole holder of the information? The reason I ask this question, is because I'm currently writing a football (soccer for the Americans!) match report, and wondered If I can use quotes gathered from others that have interviewed the managers and players i.e. the BBC..
