This role follows a hybrid working model. While Nottingham is the primary location, candidates based anywhere in the UK will be considered.

Candidate profile

In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support and engineering capability across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform services, ensuring platforms remain stable, secure, and performant. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, support releases across non-production and production environments, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of deployment pipelines and operational processes.

Working closely with developers, platform engineers, and service teams, you’ll help shape well-documented, automated, and repeatable solutions. You’ll take an active role in improving runbooks, sharing knowledge, and identifying opportunities to enhance system resilience, DevOps practices, and overall service quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Support & Resolve: Investigate and resolve complex Dynamics 365 and Power Platform issues to maintain service availability.

• Deploy & Operate: Manage and support releases across environments, including occasional out-of-hours deployments.

• Collaborate & Contribute: Work with cross-functional teams on solution design, deployment, and operational improvements.

• Automate & Improve: Enhance CI/CD pipelines and platform management using agreed tools and standards.

• Document & Share: Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.

• Learn & Evolve: Stay current with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and DevOps best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

To be successful, you’ll bring strong experience supporting and engineering Dynamics 365 solutions, along with a proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving. You’ll be comfortable working in complex environments, collaborating with multiple teams, and taking ownership of operational excellence.

You should have:

• Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role focused on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including configuration, plug-ins, and integrations.

• A developer background with previous experience of working on C# focused projects.

• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, with experience using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Desirable:

• Relevant Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.

• Experience supporting Azure services, including functions, serverless environments, and integrations.

• Familiarity with modern automation and cloud-native operational practices.#
