You will be based at one of our Scotland or Northern Ireland Offices (or even in the wider UK) and you should expect travel to various CGI Offices across the UK as required.

Candidate profile

In this role, you will lead CGI’s Government and Health Delivery Centre, overseeing delivery performance, talent development, and operational excellence. You will ensure that client engagements consistently achieve the highest standards, while also providing scalable delivery capabilities that support CGI’s growth across the UK and Ireland public sector.

You will be responsible for expanding the centre’s footprint, developing workforce skills in line with market needs, and strengthening CGI’s reputation as a trusted delivery partner. By fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability, you will enable your teams to deliver measurable outcomes for clients, colleagues, and communities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead & Oversee operations of the Government & Health Delivery Centre, ensuring excellence and compliance.

• Drive & Scale delivery capabilities to meet client and business unit needs across the UK & Ireland.

• Grow & Improve delivered revenue, profitability, and margin performance year on year.

• Develop & Inspire talent strategies, building pipelines of skilled professionals through training and reskilling.

• Engage & Align with public sector leaders across CGI to anticipate demand and resource effectively.

• Deliver & Assure outstanding Partner Satisfaction (PSAP) and Internal Operational Satisfaction (OSAP) scores

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

To excel in this role, you will bring senior leadership experience in consulting delivery or IT services, with a proven record of managing large-scale delivery centres or shared service operations. You should demonstrate strong commercial acumen, operational expertise, and a passion for developing high-performing, diverse teams to meet evolving public sector needs.

Essential qualifications:

• Significant leadership experience in delivery operations within consulting or IT services.

• Proven success in managing large-scale delivery centres or shared services.

• Track record in growing revenue and improving margins.

• Strong understanding of UK public sector and healthcare market dynamics.

• Demonstrated ability to lead workforce development, training, and reskilling strategies.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

• Inspirational leadership of geographically distributed teams.
