emagine has an opportunity for you to support the evolution of a global integration landscape and guide teams through a major upgrade programme.

Skills & Experience

• Senior‑level expertise with Software AG webMethods (B2B, BPMS, MFT).

• Proven experience upgrading webMethods platforms—ideally 10.x to 11.x—including risk evaluation and issue mitigation.

• Strong understanding of integration architecture, patterns, and best practices.

• Experience designing and executing functional, performance, and stability tests.

• Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

• Strong analytical mindset: able to assess risk, value, and effort objectively.

• Excellent communication skills for cross‑team collaboration and clear reporting.

• Full professional proficiency in English.

Key Tasks & Deliverables

• Design end‑to‑end integration architectures using the webMethods suite (B2B, MFT, BPMS).

• Provide technical leadership and subject‑matter expertise for a major platform upgrade (e.g., 10.x → 11.x), including component migration and configuration.

• Develop and refine integration patterns, standards, and best practices to support scalable and secure enterprise integration.

• Work closely with delivery managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with integration design guidelines.

• Chair the Integration Design Authority and ensure technical governance across ongoing initiatives.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Oversee technical deliverables and ensure quality, compliance, performance, and operational readiness.

• Evaluate new features and tooling to enhance the broader integration capability (monitoring, logging, failover, deployment readiness).

   

What to Expect

You’ll join a collaborative and enabling international team environment, success in this role requires someone autonomous, proactive, and able to own technical decision‑making.

The project can be performed fully remotely, and consultants based anywhere in Europe are welcome.
