Are you an experienced AWS Architect with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure?
emagine has an opportunity for you to lead and shape a global cloud migration initiative with a collaborative and enabling team.

We’re looking for a highly skilled AWS Architect to support a major migration project from AWS to Azure over the next two years. You’ll be responsible for understanding the current AWS implementation, contributing to strategic improvements in robustness, simplification, and security, and acting as the technical leader for AWS within the organisation.

Key skills and experience:

• Expert-level AWS architecture and infrastructure knowledge.

• Deep knowledge of core AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, Backup, Networking, etc.).

• Strong leadership and proactive mindset.

• High-level design and documentation expertise.

• Experience with operating systems and cloud monitoring.

• Basic knowledge of Azure, OnPrem and networking a plus.

• Ability to collaborate across teams and guide technical direction.

• Fully fluent in English with experience in an international multicultural environment.

Key tasks and deliverables include:

• Provide High-Level Designs for AWS-hosted projects.

• Maintain and evolve documentation for the AWS environment.

• Act as the AWS platform leader in coordination with the Infra Lead Architect.

• Guide and support Operators and Infrastructure Engineers on AWS changes.

• Collaborate with application teams and other architects.

• Drive improvements in robustness, security, and cost-efficiency.

• Work closely with the FinOps team to manage cloud costs.
