We are looking for a Mainfram system analyst for our client in Brussels.
Key responsibilities :
Working with the business stakeholders to translate the business needs for various small and medium business requests into requirements for IT implementation team
Understand the IT application landscape to well describe the requirements for the application (frontend integrating with different backend systems)
Understanding how the different application components are interconnected is key to deliver a correct analysis/requirement.
Prepare/executing tests activities to validate the team's deliverables.
Being able to communicate clearly and interact with team members (Business PO, colleague business analysts, architect, backend developers) in the Agile team you will be working in
Candidate profile
Expected skills and experience :
DB2 - At least 5 years of experience - Must have
Experience in Insurance - only P&C Retail, banking or life insurance will not be taken into account - Must have
IMS - Must have
Knowledge in Cobol (ability to review code change realized by offshore team) - Must have
Affinity with application architecture, understanding how components are connected together - Must have
Structured mindset, delivering analysis that are precise and correct - Must have
Languages requirements :
French - Fluent - Must have
English - Fluent - Must have
