Job Title: Business Co-Ordinator, Munitions

Location: Based mostly onsite at Glascoed, with the ability to travel and support Munitions Director where needed

Salary: Circa £60,000 dependent on skills and experiences with bonus scheme

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for ensuring the right environment is in place to support decision making at pace.
  • Working with the SLT and wider to ensure inputs to regular business meetings (SLT etc) are focused on outputs and run as efficiently as possible as well as ensure outputs from the meetings are understood and actioned
  • Drafting of agendas, collation of packs, co-ordinating inputs where appropriate
  • Ensuring our meeting cadence is optimised to support decision making and reporting
  • Promoting efficient and targeted business reporting enabling high performance, this will include working with the business to co-ordinate a reporting suite of metrics
  • Keeping the director well-briefed and prepared against a busy schedule of activities, working alongside EA where required
  • Where required, preparing written materials such as presentations, briefing notes, and speeches, and working with the communication team where necessary
  • Working alongside EA you will ensure business requests are responded to appropriately in a timely manner
  • Acting as a representative for the business director as and when required
  • Supporting in the interpretation and delivery of business director direction, facilitating cross-functional communication, information flow and collaboration
  • In return you will work across a broad of complex subjects and differing stakeholder level, gain insights to operating a business at a strategic level and become a trusted member of the Munitions' SLT

Your skills and experiences:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent desirable
  • You will be results-driven and self-motivated
  • Can assimilate, sometimes complex information quickly
  • A confident communicator both on the page and verbally, you will be concise and articulate.
  • Resilient with the ability to work under pressure
  • Sensitive and confidential in all aspects of your role
  • Able to build trusted relationships
  • Astute business acumen - understanding business strategy and organisational dynamics
  • Honed project management skills

The Munitions team:

As the Business Co-Ordinator you will reporting to the Munitions Director, M&L Defence Solutions, this is a new role created to support the director to ensure business cohesion and aligned priorities in support of organisational performance across the Munitions business.
