IT Sales Consultant
Newark-on-Trent
£30,000 to £34,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission (Realistic earnings £60,000-£85,000+) + Car/Allowance + Benefits

Excellent opportunity for an IT Sales professional to join a fast growing technology provider offering uncapped earning potential, long term career development and the chance to work with a wide range of business customers across multiple sectors.

This company delivers IT services, cloud solutions, hosted telephony and managed print to organisations across the UK. With continued growth across the group, they are now looking for an experienced IT Sales Consultant to manage and grow a key client base while also generating new opportunities within your territory.

In this role you will work with existing customers to secure renewals, identify opportunities for expansion and cross selling, and provide consultative advice based on a strong understanding of their business needs. You will also generate new IT support contracts through prospecting, meetings, events and networking. You will be supported by technical teams, but you will need the confidence to discuss cloud, infrastructure, licensing, networks and security at a high level.

The ideal candidate will have experience in IT sales, account management or technical sales within MSPs, VARs, IT support businesses or technology providers. You will be confident meeting customers face to face, presenting solutions, writing proposals and managing a territory. Experience discussing Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud technologies, networking or server solutions is highly desirable.

The Role:
Manage, retain and grow an existing customer base within your territory
Identify opportunities for renewals, upsells and cross selling
Prospect and win new IT support contracts through meetings and events
Prepare proposals, present solutions and work with technical teams to deliver outcomes

The Person:
Background in IT sales, MSP sales, technical account management or similar
Comfortable discussing cloud, networking, security and Microsoft technologies
Confident generating new business and managing a sales pipeline
Strong communication skills and a proactive, self motivated approach
