Freelance job Systems Test Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Systems Test Engineer to join one of our clients on a contract basis. Our client, based in Belfast, is looking for someone who can bring their expertise to bear on cutting-edge projects involving embedded software testing using Python. The systems tested will include both hardware and software elements. This role will see you ensure that the products fulfil their functional and performance requirements.

They're looking for someone with experience of:
- Demonstrable experience working as a Systems Tester/Test Engineer with exposure to Automation Testing within complex environments.
- Python: The ideal candidate should be proficient at writing clean code utilising best practices while also demonstrating solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Automation Test / Robot Framework: Experience designing automation frameworks using industry standard techniques is essential. Additionally, familiarity with Robot framework would give you an edge over other applicants.

This contract would be for an initial six months, with onsite working and offering market rate.
