Lead PHP Developer

Our trusted partner, a rapidly growing FinTech corporation is hiring a Lead Developer with domain experience within financial services to lead a team of cross functional engineers and assist with architectural decision making. To be successful, you must have strong capabilites in PHP, React and AWS coupled with Symfony/Laravel in recent projects. Our client is offering a basis salary up to £95,000 DOE, plus benefits to be situated in Bristol, one day per week.

You will be responsible for shaping underlying product frameworks, code reviews, deployment as well as feature planning and an involvement in directional decision-making processes. As part of a small team, your role will vary depending on the task at hand - allowing you to diversify your skillset.

Experience:

• 5+ years using with PHP including Symfony/Laravel is a must have
• Use of React to build single page applications is a must have
• Strong experience with MySQL is a must have
• Exposure to architectural decision making is a nice to have
• AWS (desirable)
• JavaScript/Node (desirable)
• Financial Services (desirable)
• Leadership experience, recruitment etc.

• £85,000 to £95,000
