A Software Test and Validation Engineer is sought by this very successful, expanding organisation. Based at their Edinburgh R+D Centre the Software Test and Validation Engineer will be tasked with developing test automation software in Python (and maybe LabView) targeting validation automation software packages. The Software Test and Validation Engineer will also be involved in writing some embedded software for software validation testing and firmware / hardware validation where needed. Having completed your degree in Computer Science (or equiv.) you will have gained 2+ years of experience delivering test and validation automation software in Python. You will be happy working at the interface between hardware and software and it would be beneficial to have some lab-based hardware testing background and some exposure to putting together firmware or software validation testcases in C.
