Capita have a unique opportunity for a Senior Function Test Analyst to join a new team in the UK supporting a truly exciting project. The primary objective of this position is to oversee the production of test documents, the creation of test procedures, and to ensure the successful completion of testing tasks of their team. Our ideal candidate will be able to provide guidance to the team as well as training, mentoring and guiding junior colleagues. Given their technical aptitude, they can pick up a task, analyse and complete it with minimal guidance. To be successful in this role, you will need to have been present in the UK for at least 5 years and must meet the eligibility criteria for SC clearance. What you'll be doing: - Design test cases, scripts and data under own direction - Prioritises testing and documents traceability to test basis - Recording and reporting test outcomes - Participating in requirement, design and specification reviews, and uses this information to design test plans and test scripts - Applying agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing - Automating testing tasks and builds test coverage through existing or new infrastructure - Analysing and reporting on test activities, results and issues - Escalate issues and blockers to Team Lead/Test Manager along with the impact and options to mitigate - Collaborating in reviews of work with others - Completing their work with no supervision and given their good technical competencies they should be able to solve problems/ tasks on their own - Thinking out-of-box, suggesting innovative and practical solutions to resolve issues based on their experience What we're looking for: - API Testing; Application Testing; Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD); C#.NET; Java; REST API Testing; Selenium; Testing Methodology; TestNG - Experience of designing test cases, scripts and data under own direction - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all organisational levels, both internally and externally - Must be able to work with own initiative with little supervision - Exceptional communication skills - Excellent stakeholder management skills About Capita Technology and Software Solutions Capita Technology and Software Solutions (TSS) is a newly formed global shared service, responsible for delivering innovation and digital transformation for Capita's businesses and clients. What you'll be doing: Working with our dedicated safeguards specialists and IT department, you will manage quality assurance and change processes across multiple environments.
