This role will require hybrid working, with 2 days per week on-site in Newcastle. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to Security Check (SC) level as a minimum. Your future duties and responsibilities As a Senior Delivery Manager at CGI, you'll ensure the successful delivery of digital services and products by leading Agile Delivery Teams through all stages of the development lifecycle. You will play a critical role in fostering collaboration, maintaining momentum, and ensuring alignment with user needs and stakeholder expectations. Key duties include: - Building and maintaining motivated teams, fostering a collaborative and iterative working environment - Running Agile ceremonies such as show and tell, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming - Ensuring team members actively participate in user research, acting as observers and documenting outputs to align design and research - Tracking and reporting on delivery cadence, including burn-up and burn-down charts, team velocity, and progress against plans - Addressing blockers and challenges by liaising with upstream and downstream delivery teams - Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding - Acting as a bridge between team members, empowering the team, and maintaining delivery momentum - Running and maintaining JIRA boards and Confluence spaces for the team Required qualifications to be successful in this role - Skilled in applying and adapting Agile and lean tools and techniques to suit different contexts - Experienced in identifying and improving processes to maximise delivery outcomes - Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations and fostering understanding - Skilled in facilitating discussions and presenting progress to diverse audiences, including at Show and Tell events - Experience tracking and managing dependencies, risks, and issues to maintain delivery momentum - Competent in using data to inform planning and prioritisation - Proven ability to build and maintain motivated teams, empowering team members to achieve their best - Skilled in creating a supportive team environment and resolving team dynamics issues - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools - Ability to manage internal processes such as resource onboarding, timesheet verification, and collaboration with PMOs for accurate invoicing #LI-RJ1 Together, as owners, let's turn meaningful insights into action. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? Experience of delivering software in an agile environment in multiple phases. A strong understanding of Agile principles and practices. Ability to promote a culture of psychological safety in teams, managing team dynamics. Experience of coaching and developing others, taking ownership of your own development.
