Senior Analog IC Design Engineer
I am looking to help my client expand their design team in Switzerland with a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer. This engineer will implement, analog components for our leading edge ultra-low power ICs and participate on the integration into the top-level IC designs. What you’ll do • Participate to feasibility studies and architecture definitions of new products. • Develop low-power analog IP blocks (specification, schematic and layout CMOS and SOI design, Spice simulation). • Contribute to the block integration in complex mixed-signals System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. • Generate detailed specifications and verification plans for analog components and IC designs. • Evaluate and characterize IC components in the lab. • Lead small teams on sub-projects. • Support the production test development and the final circuit qualification. • Contribute to design methodology and design flow improvements. What you’ll need • A Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics or equivalent. • Minimum of 8 years of analog IC design experience (schematic, layout, simulation). • A thorough understanding of semiconductor physics and IC processes. • Good English written and verbal communication skills. Senior Analog IC Design Engineer - Power Management
This is a new opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join a solid and growing Semiconductor company based in Edinburgh working on power conversion technologies, you will be part of a collaborative team developing high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits, including innovative power converters and other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes. Masters or PhD qualified in Electronic Engineering or Microelectronics, you will have relevant experience in Analog/Mixed signal with experience in some or all of the following: • Deep understanding of the Analog design flow steps including architecture, design, and design integration. • Understanding of high-level modelling tools such as Matlab, Simulink, Simplis, LTSpice or similar. • Expertise in power conversion architectures, transistor-level design, and simulation. • Understanding of control theory for power conversion solutions. • Proven hands-on experience in design of inductive and/or capacitive power converters. • Hands-on lab test/debug experience with scopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment. • Understanding of device physics, device parasitics and basic ESD/Latchup protection. • Experience in products for the automotive market and understanding of the safety requirements will be considered as a plus. Senior Analog IC / Mixed Signal Design Engineer
I am looking for a Senior Analog/Mixed signal Design Engineer to join a client I am working with in Nijmegen. The successful candidate will be involved in Developing analog / mixed-Signal integrated circuits, from specifications to release for mass production: circuit design, simulation/verification and validation on bench/lab table: • Work closely with system team to define and design circuits that meet the business target • Pre and post layout circuit verification of targeted performances over PVT Corners • Define physical layout requirements for layout engineers or complete the circuit layout autonomously • Build behavioral models of analog and digital circuits and complete mixed signal models to support verification on chip level and system level performance • Characterise and debug designs in the lab and test platform for mass production as necessary • IP validation & characterisation in collaboration with test engineers • Work with application engineers in lab environments to sustain bring-up & debug activities • Documenting and presenting IP / design architecture choices and performance results • Provide specification, design review and test requirements documentation to guide support team (system, application, ATE test engineers etc.) to meet design quality, yield & schedule targets • Provide IP integration guidelines • Collaborating across company's multi-sites/multi-country activities to support IP Integration The ideal candidate will have: • PhD or Master degree in Electrical Engineering in the field of analog / mixed signal IC development. • 5+ years of experience designing custom ICs • Knowledge of implementation of analog / mixed-signal IC design and layout • Knowledge of transistor-level analog circuit simulation tools and extensive experience with Cadence Virtuoso. • Experience with behavioral model creation and execute AMS based verification test plans • The ability to characterize and troubleshoot IC designs in the lab and ATE test floor • Knowledge of BCD (Bipolar, CMOS, DMOS) silicon process technologies involving high voltage and high power design is considered a strong plus as well as automotive product design background. I am looking for a Senior Analog IC Design engineer to join a client I am working with based in Grenoble. This engineer will join a design team to develop new products in GaN Technology and offer a wide power devices family for AC-DC converters. The position will involve the following activity: • Create IC specifications based on inputs from strategic marketing and business department. • Design and perform simulations of circuits, including analog functions, power devices and protections. Create and simulate schematics using Cadence Design Virtuoso suite. • Create product layout and conduct verification's based on the licensed GaN technology design manual. • Design according packaging strategy and thermal constraints. • Launch product prototypes in manufacturing • Perform prototype characterisation. • Create technical documentation and tests reports. • Work closely with hardware system design team and interface with Wise Asian GaN technology partner.
