A Senior Compiler Research Engineer is sought by this leading global communications and information technology solutions provider to be based at their R+D Centre in Zurich. This position will involve the Senior Compiler Research Engineer in emerging ML and AI compiler technologies such as MLIR, TVM, GLOW etc. The Senior Compiler Research Engineer will be working with the open-source community contributing to open-source frameworks for state-of-the-art development projects. The ideal candidate with have completed their PhD in Maths or Computer Science (or equiv.) and have commercial compiler development experience preferably adapting compilation processes to more than a single architecture. You should be able to show a real interest in compiler technologies and have an in-depth knowledge and expertise in LLVM, MLIR, TVM etc. You should have solid experience in code generation and optimisation gained in ML, AI, HPC or similar environments and have solid programming experience (C, C++, Python etc.). This is a senior position with a company at the forefront of technology so the successful candidate can expect a very generous base salary, bonus and a very attractive benefits package.
