In this role you will support the development of diesel and hybrid power systems by creating control algorithms / software using MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow. You will conduct control system tuning, plan and execute verification and validation testing and troubleshoot any system issues.
The ideal candidate will have a technical background in Engineering or Computer Science and experience working in the automotive industry. You will have strong experience with MATLAB and Simulink to create control algorithms / software models. Any experience with HiL testing, automation testing and software version control systems is desirable but not required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Controls Software Engineer to join an international company on an exciting 12 month contract.
The Role:

The Role:
Client facing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, in or under budget, identifying risks
Implement continuos improvement from 'lessons learnt'
Managing 15-25 projects, ranging from 50k to 1.5m
Office based but hybrid option can be discussed
4 - 6 months contract, inside IR35
The Person:
Engineering qualified (ideally Mechanical or Electrical)
Project management experience
Knowledge of water or wastewater industry highly beneficial
