Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance (DV). This role will be based in the Cheltenham office 5 days a week. Your future duties and responsibilities Join our dynamic storage team and play a critical role in managing and maintaining our enterprise-scale data storage solutions. Key Tasks: • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and design cost-effective storage solutions tailored to their needs. • Storage Management: Oversee the management, maintenance, and support of large-scale data storage systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. • Upgrades and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute software and hardware upgrades for storage components, collaborating with vendors as necessary to ensure seamless integration. • Provisioning and Availability: Handle storage provisioning tasks, from processing user requests to creating volumes, mapping, and ensuring storage availability at the operating system level. • Performance and Capacity Analysis: Conduct thorough storage performance analysis and capacity management to maintain system efficiency and address potential issues proactively. I am Currently working with a Financial Services firm who are looking for a Storage Engineer , I came across your profile and thought it would be worth reaching out. Requirements: • Storage / Backup Experience. • Experience of block and file storage • Experience of backup solutions. • Experience administrating solutions within a regulated environment, i.e. Financial Services. • Any of : Hitachi block, fc san, iscsi, nvmeof, fcoe would be beneficial. This is an initial 12 Month contract paying a competitive rate via umbrella with high chance of extension. This role is hybrid and requires 1 day a week in the London office.
