Your future duties and responsibilities As part of the successful and expanding Service Delivery practice in Scotland & NI, we are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to work alongside a key public sector client in Northern Ireland. You role will be to help deliver a complex solution and transformation programme. As a Senior Solution Architect you will play a crucial role in the client's (business led) digital transformation programme, leading the design of the technical solution, and overseeing the implementation of systems to meet the client's strategic goals. You will be instrumental in shaping our client's technical landscape for their Digital Transformation programme, ensuring that the solution designs are robust, scalable, and aligned with the client's strategic vision. Longer term there will be opportunities for you to work across a wide range of clients and engagements across the UK heling to shape their digital future. Required qualifications to be successful in this role In this role you will need to be able to - Understand our client's business needs and how they translate in solutions - Design the Solution (DD/HLD) You'll need to demonstrate a strong track record in delivering software projects coupled with integration expertise, guidance and governance, and risk management. You'll be client facing so the ability to communicate your solutions to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders will be critical. You'll also need experience working in an environment of continuous improvement with high levels of quality assurance. This role is particularly suited for individuals with experience in pre-sales, specifically leading programme management within complex bids. A strong background in public sector engagements is highly desirable, as is familiarity with the Government Competitive Dialogue procurement process. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading portfolios of projects, ensuring successful delivery, and driving business growth. Your key responsibilities will include: • Programme Delivery: Ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, achieving the agreed outcomes. • Leadership & Governance: Establishing and maintaining an effective management and leadership structure. • Stakeholder Engagement: Managing relationships with senior internal stakeholders and clients at both IT and business leadership levels. • Business Development: Identifying and securing opportunities to grow the account, including contract extensions and new business engagements. • Team Management: Leading and motivating teams, clearly communicating strategy, and inspiring collaboration to achieve shared objectives. • Accountability & Financial Management: Client & Account Management • Securing opportunities to expand the account, including new business development. • Utilising senior client feedback to enhance client satisfaction and experience.
