I am seeking a talented and experienced Senior/Principal Physical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead and contribute to the physical design of advanced automotive integrated circuits. In this role you will take ownership of the entire Physical Design flow at block and chip level. Responsibilities would include • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define physical design requirements and constraints for automotive integrated circuits • Lead and participate in all aspects of physical design, including floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and power analysis • Develop and optimize physical design methodologies to improve design quality and performance • Perform design closure activities to meet performance, power, and area targets • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to project planning and execution Requirements • Proven experience on 7+ successful tapeouts • MS degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering • Experience working across the full RTL-GDS flow • Power / IR drop analysis is beneficial but not essential • Good understanding of timing requirements, clock tree generation • Experience with DFT insertion techniques • and DFT insertion techniques For more information on this role or others then please contact Jordan Browne at IC Resources.
