Lead Platform Engineer
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Platform Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health of our Cloud platform engineering discipline. This role will involve defining the cloud infrastructure strategy and roadmap, as well as overseeing the stability, performance, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of our Cloud Platform. Lead Platform Engineer - Mainly Remote - 1 Day a month in Carlisle - Up to £85,000 + Great Benefits Skills Required: - 5 Years experience with Azure - Expertise and significant experience and champions the preference to work with \"Infrastructure as Code\" - terraform OR BICEP - Expertise and significant experience with full cloud networking - Expertise and significant experience working with \"Infrastructure as Code\" templating tooling (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Ansible). - Expertise and significant experience with CI/CD tooling & practices (e.g. Github, ADO, Jenkins, TeamCity, automation techniques). - Experienced with scripting languages/tools like either Bash, Ruby, Python. The ideal candidate will have experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments. As a full-time member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our platform engineering efforts, ensuring that our cloud platform is always performing at its best.
