Your future duties and responsibilities • Provide 3rd line support for all EUC-related incidents and service requests, prioritizing high-availability, performance, and low-latency trading environments. • Act as the escalation point for complex desktop support issues, ensuring trading systems remain operational during critical periods. • Troubleshoot and manage desktop systems, laptops, peripherals, and software in a mission-critical trading environment. • Lead efforts to resolve issues related to low-latency hardware, networking, and software platforms in trading floor settings. • Perform preventative maintenance, updates, and patch management to optimize trading platforms and workstations. • Collaborate with network, security, and server teams to resolve cross-functional issues impacting trading operations. • Support trading applications and proprietary tools (e.g., Eikon, Refinitiv, Bloomberg) integral to gas energy and trading workflows. • Manage and deploy desktop images, configurations, and device lifecycle processes. • Ensure compliance with stringent endpoint security protocols and trading industry regulations. • Document solutions, best practices, and known issues, sharing insights with Service Desk and IT teams. • Drive continuous improvements through technology upgrades and troubleshooting efforts. • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on trading-specific technology and support practices.
