The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We are looking for experienced architects to support solutions developed with our customers. You will be joining an existing architecture team, working on innovation projects across the space and defence domains. Your future duties and responsibilities Solution Architects: You will be responsible for analysis of requirements to determine, assess and select the best solution and technology options for our clients. Day to day you will provide leadership for the delivery of the solution and provide guidance to our clients to ensure value is realised for their objectives whilst creating hands-on insight for complex solution options working alongside our development teams. You will also identify emerging risk and cost issues or opportunities and formulate responsive strategies and work with our Agile delivery teams, providing guidance, standards and constraints to ensure the objectives and quality standards of our clients are met. Technical Architects: You will leverage your technical expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with project goals to establish a high-performing and future-ready IT environment. Your technical acumen and strategic vision will be key to achieving success. Enterprise Architects: You will be responsible for defining and controlling the solution and system architecture (including models, decisions, validation, evolution, and delivery support), working with the customer and any subcontractors to identify, trade-off and design the overall architecture. You will also assist with the overall strategy and business chase activities, working with multiple stakeholders as well as creating high level artefacts to be delivered to the customer. Our architects work hand-in-hand with our clients teams, fostering synergy, knowledge-sharing and dynamic problem-solving.
