Job Description Site Reliability Engineer with Python Our Client looking to bring on a site reliability engineer to help deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and enhance our complex cloud-based set of internal tools and externally managed services for a variety of users across our wide-ranging organization. You will have at least 7 to 10 years hands-on expertise working as a Site Reliability Engineer. You will work closely with IT, product, and engineering to extend and maintain this set of tools and services and to help debug and resolve problems. In addition, the ideal candidate will proactively look for system weaknesses and find ways to resolve them before they can cause production issues via monitoring and data we aggregate through various tools within our organization's IT & DevOps toolkit. Senior Data Analyst SQL Server Python Investment Management/ Asset Management This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst with strong technical skills across SQL Server Python to join my client who are a leading Investment Management/ Asset Management business Role details * Title: Data Analyst * Technical stack SQL Server Python * Employer: Investment Management/ Asset Management * Location: London City (London Bridge) and home working hybrid (1 or 2 days in the office) * Salary £70-100,000 dependent on level of experience * Data: investment data This is a brilliant opportunity for a Data Analyst with experience in the investment management financial services space to have a lead voice on managing the current data platform (including troubleshooting and fixing when things go wrong!), and working on new data projects, including designing new data sets, working with vendors and invests on trialing data programs, and designing a new data frame working in python This role has a lot of variety to it, and requires a good mix of technical skills across SQL SERVER and Python, and a genuine invest in financial data You will be working directly with the Head of Investment data solutions who is London based, and a wider team based across the USA Day TO Day * First thing in the morning, you will analyze anything that has fallen down overnight, such as Fixing and troubleshooting data quality, missing files, corrupted files * Then you will be working on key data projects, including analysis different types of research, working with new vendors, trialing data programs and getting new clients onboarded to the new data sets * You will also be a key voice on a new data quality framework which is being built out in Python There are a mix of projects covering SQL server and data quality and building out python A lot is automated but there are data corruption, missing files, so some basic data support so this role offers a wider variety of experiences, and is a lot broader than just a standard data analyst role Role requirements Must have experience within financial services, with investment management/ asset management useful but not essential Must have experience with Financial data Technical skills * SQL server * Data brick * Cloud * Azure * Python This role will be ideal for a data analyst who is passionate about data and interested in investments It will take a while to learn all the processes and internal systems so this is a long term opportunity for you For more information and the chance to be considered, please do send through a CV Good luck!
